I am an administrator in all fields. I discern context for planning programs. Now I could provide you with the quintessential answer, "I want to help people," but the truth of the matter is, I do help people. I can assist people through the process of identifying needs for employees and members of community and business organizations. I attribute my excellent communication skills to the ability to listen. But not just listen; I can discern verbal, physical and cognitive information. My skills, training and life experiences as a journalist, an educator, a producer, co-director for a Community Living Center, and too, a parent; has afforded me invaluable experiences in critical thinking and analytical practices. Moreover, as a responsible person who has made a commitment to the field of human relations, I know how important it is to stay well-informed. And too, my brain houses a minimum of 1000 useless facts for game shows and trivia nights! I call on God and the strength of my ancestors for the power to flow even when it looks “like hope unborn has died.” I still Rise! I think that all doors are pathways to opportunities. You just have to find the one that is key for you.
